TEGG System Analysis and Maintenance

Aschinger Electric is the St. Louis Metro Area’s exclusive provider of TEGG Services. Our partnership with TEGG allows our company to provide our customers with a proactive, proven electrical diagnostic service that minimizes outages and mitigates the risk associated with safety hazards. Our highly trained staff works hand-in-hand with our customers to help cultivate specifically tailored programs that reduce repair costs, prevent downtime and most importantly – improves workplace safety.

From the design and installation of your information systems network to the health check and proper maintenance of your power distribution systems– Aschinger’s partnership with TEGG Service exists to protect your investment and your peace of mind. Simply put – we’re here to assure the reliability, safety and compliance of all types of electrical power systems and equipment.
Since we purchased the rights to TEGG Service we’ve been committed to one thing: providing the best preventative maintenance and analysis in the St. Louis Metro Area. We go to great lengths to ensure that every test, every service and every interaction we have with the systems we create have clearly defined, key performance indicators. It’s these high standards that ensure you get the most out of your investment today – and well into the future.
Our approach to businesses is comprehensive and customer facing. We offer a variety of preventative maintenance services, including inspections by licensed electricians, infrared thermography, de-energized services, voltage and current diagnostics, power quality analysis, ultrasonic services and more.
We don’t just offer these services to make ourselves a one-stop-shop. These services work hand in hand to paint an accurate picture of your electrical system and its needs. That means that once a TEGG contractor has made the rounds through your facility, he or she will be able to develop a specifically tailored, systematic plan to repairing and maintaining your system.
While each situation we face is unique, the results are always the same: systems that are operating at a high level and helping our customers do what they do best – grow their business.

Aschinger is a selected contractor of  TEGG, an international alliance of electrical contractors protecting commercial and industrial facilities from electrical system failures and resulting business interruptions and property damage. TEGG contractors use system analysis tools such as infrared  thermographic scanning.

Aschinger can design a TEGG-guaranteed maintenance program for your facility.
Under a TEGG program, if we certify that an electrical component is in proper working order and it subsequently fails, it will be replaced free of charge.
Aschinger’s enrollment as a TEGG contractor requires an investment in state-of-the-art testing infrared, thermographic, and ultrasound equipment. It also requires a commitment to a program of TEGG-administered instruction and testing associated with electrical preventive maintenance programs. These include:
  • Infrared Thermography
  • Ultrasonic Testing
  • Voltage and Ampere Diagnostics
  • Power Factor Testing
  • Proper Torquing
  • Power Quality Analysis
  • Surge Protection Analysis
  • Repairs and upgrades of electrical distribution systems
Aschinger can design a TEGG-guaranteed maintenance program for your facility. Under a TEGG program, if we certify that an electrical component is in proper working order and it subsequently fails, it will be replaced free of charge.

  • “Last week when I was on site I had a chance to talk with two of your electricians, Denny and Rich Butteiger.     I was talking to them about the project and specifically the work they were doing (which was awesome).   It was great to hear them talk with passion and pride about their work.  We also talked about safety and that they saw being safe as much a part of their work as the work itself.

Again, we appreciate the safety attitude and quality of work that Aschinger puts in place every day.”

  • “I just received a phone call from Brian Sword at Gander Mountain to tell me how happy he is with the Fenton install. Please let Aschinger know that we appreciate their efforts. Nothing better than getting this type of call, especially with the eyes on this one. This is a team effort from design, engineering and implementation to make this happen.”

  • “Our diagrams were a hodgepodge of pieces.  Aschinger looked at our building and gave us a complete set of one line diagrams.  Before, when we had an issue we could grab the pieces but we weren’t even sure if they were right.  Another good thing was their analysis and maintenance recommendations.”

  • “We truly appreciate your efforts in all aspects of the construction process, and hope that we will soon be working together again on another project.”

  • “I would like to offer my sincere thanks and appreciation to Aschinger for a great job. Everyone involved was knowledgeable and professional. This was a monumental achievement for both Duke and Aschinger and we should be proud of the results.”

  • “Our project was never typical, could become unsafe at any time, was always sensitive to production and yet from the beginning your team has always looked after our best interest. Mike House and Scott Strumpler did an exceptional job!”
